My story.

"Taking their cans to the curb was his way of going the extra mile. That's the same principle we build into every campaign we run." — Travis Rosene

I grew up in the pool business. My dad ran the routes and handled the service; my mom ran the office. Long before it was an official job, my first gig was riding along with my dad every summer — early mornings, hot afternoons, and a crash course in what hard work actually looks like.

One day I asked him why we always rolled a customer's trash cans out to the curb after we'd finished their pool. He told me he scheduled those routes the day before trash pickup on purpose. Taking the cans out wasn't part of the job — it was just his way of going the extra mile.

That one habit taught me more about business than almost anything else, and it's the same principle we build into every campaign at POOLHOUSE: the extra mile isn't the expensive part of marketing — it's the part people actually remember.
